A while back we headed out to George Ranch Historical Park the boys had fun running around and checking out "real cowboys".

They watched ranch hands moving cattle around, they saw some blacksmiths at work and we went into all kinds of preserved building portraying the history of the area.

The history is pretty interesting. Lots of things to read and the ranch staff have loads of stories.

It was a bit chilly when we were there, but it would be a nice way to spend a weekend afternoon on a warm spring day. I'm sure we will be back there again.
