We headed out to the mountains this weekend for a wander around in the snow with the boys. Everyone enjoys it. Fresh air, the sound of birds and squirrels, there's always something to pick up or point at.


Of course when Doreen pulled out the Thermos of hot chocolate things got quiet and very focused. Kids + hot chocolate = happiness.


If the boys are happy, so is mom.

With the hot chocolate finished it was time to move on for more pointing and falling in the snow. Of course Pico doesn't have much interest in hot chocolate but she's a sucker for a good stick throwing-fest, even if it's Evan throwing it for six or seven feet.

It's good to be back.
